Question: How do I get the software?
Answer: Go to pickeringtest.com and select the Cable Design Tool link under Connectivity.
Q: What happens if I cannot find my desired connector in the library? Like a Mil-Circ connector as an example…
A: You can request any new connector or one you don’t see in the cable design tool by clicking the “Product Request” link at the bottom of the list in the Product Library.
Q: Can you output a schematic, rather or in addition to the wirelist provided in the pdf data sheet?
A: There is a schematic provided on the PDF datasheet in addition to the wirelist.
Q: Can I provide you an existing cable drawing for you to quote?
A: Yes, if you have used the CDT tool in the past, we can pull your records and requote you. If you have an existing CAD drawing, contact us here for help recreating it in the Cable Design Tool.
Q: If we don’t have enough space, can we adjust the backshell?
A: You can have us create a custom backshell by submitting a product request, however, there may be an existing alternative we can help you find. Contact us here for more information.
