The 12-slot BRIC™ module format extends switching capability of popular matrix switch models - 40-562 & 40-558

After much anticipation, we are excited to announce our 12-slot BRIC configurations for two of our popular PXI matrix switch models. Our 40-562B model features 1- and 2-pole switching up to 1Amp with a maximum of 3168 crosspoints. Our 40-558 model offers 1-pole 0.5Amp switching up to 9216 crosspoints—making it the industry’s highest capacity PXI matrix switch module. These new modules provide flexible switching for very high I/O count test systems, as used in the Aerospace & Defense, Semiconductor and Automotive industries. Features include:

• 40-562B configurable up to 792x4, 396x8, 198x16 & 90x32 and 40-558 up to 1512x6, 1152x8, 756x12 and 576x16
• Built-in screened analog bus maximizes signal integrity
• Supported by our diagnostic tools—Built-in Relay Self-Test (BIRST)
  and eBIRST Switching System Test Tools
• Supported by our signal routing software, Switch Path Manager, for fast, error-free program development
• Compatible with PXI, PXIe Hybrid chassis, & our LXI/USB modular chassis
• All models are constructed using Pickering's high reliability instrumentation grade ruthenium reed relays
• Full range of supporting connectivity solutions as well as the ability to create custom cable assemblies with our Cable Design Tool
